CPA Staff/Team

Annual General Meeting (AGM):

The supreme policy organ convened annually for the Board of Trustees (BOT) to report on tasks delegated by the AGM. The AGM elects the BOT and delegate governance and management responsibility to them.

BOT:

CPA has got a 12 member BOT currently chaired by Mr. Atwii Jackson (Spokes person Tel: 0772347069). The Chairperson, Vice, Finance Secretary and Executive Secretary are elected by members in the AGM. CPA branches are represented on the BOT by District Representatives elected at the AGM of the Association. The Administrator of St. Marys’ College Aboke & 3 technical people on finance, advocacy and administration are co-opted by the BOT.

The AGM elects and delegates the policy function to the BOT who work through Sub Committees for specific functions. The BOT is composed of 13 members elected at the AGM as follows: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, General Secretary, Finance Secretary, DBC Chairpersons and three technical members co-opted at the first BOT meeting.

DBC:

District Branch Committees composed of 9 members, they carry out the governance function, monitoring of activities and performance at the District Branch level.

PSG and CVC:

The Parents Support Groups and the Community Volunteer Counsellors (PSG Leaders) form the basis of CPA-U work in the community.

CPA Secretariat:

Executive Director: The Chief Executive Officer and an ex-official member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) head the Secretariat. The BOT delegates the overall management function to the Programme Manager.
Finance and Administration: This component of the management function is headed by an Accountant who is assisted by Finance Officer at the Head Office and the Branches.
District Coordinators: are heads of District Branches assisted by Programme Officers, Field Officers, Account Assistants and other support staff.
Programme Officers: are staffs responsible for specific projects for which they have specialized knowledge and skills within the organizational programme.
Finance Officer: Is the finance manager at all the branch offices.
